I got a recipe from Mom, some mixing/placing help from Sophie, and some terminology clarification/portion advice/general quality control from Holly, and away we went! Sophie and I made 45 cookies, or fewer if you count the accidental mergings of cookies during baking as single cookies. I do. I named one of them Megacookie. Megacookie's life came to an abrupt end when Holly snapped it in half and ate its legs. Poor little Megacookie...

The cookies actually turned out to be pretty tasty. I might try them again with M&Ms, or ... dare I say it ...
gummi bears? Live and don't learn, that's me. (Roughly a Calvin and Hobbes quote that has somehow stuck with me...)
Anyway, the cookies are done. Long live the cookies!

Mmm... megacookie was good!
Congrats on making cookies! But...I am deeply offended by raisins in baked goods so I can only be partly happy for you. If you make them with chocolate chips you will make my day! :)
I'm deeply offended by baked goods *without* raisins, so we appear to be at an impasse. :)
I think next time, I'd soak the raisins first, so they ended up a bit plumper. As it was, they were a bit tough.
I'm deeply offended that I didn't get cookies.
The raisins are deeply offended that you left a comment. Is that everyone now? myredbike, are you deeply offended by being left out?
I'm deeply offended by the fact that I was left off of the potential deeply offended list.
Ahoy ahoy, PaperBoy - active blogging/commenting, hooray! I'm deeply offended that you're not updating your blog constantly in a near-heroic effort to amuse me and the rest of your patiently waiting public! I'll also be deeply offended if you don't join and win a tacky prize in my upcoming hockey pool. Welcome to the deeply offended list!
