Make Dean do awesome/stupid stuff

Booyah, blog post!

Moving right along, pretending I haven't been absent from the blog world for more than a year (coinciding roughly with the busy times of Ellie's first year and a half of life), let's just jump straight into today's topic. 101 MORE Things in 1001 DIFFERENT Days. I'm not starting yet, but I've been peckish for a bit more structure, a bit more planned-out-edness, in my spare time. You know that feeling you get, wandering the grocery store at 5:30pm, trying to figure out what to have for dinner? I know I'm capable of coming up with tasty and interesting dishes, but somehow, the specifics evaporate from my mind, and I gravitate to the frozen pizzas, time and time again. I've been getting that feeling (inability to grasp a specific goal, not hunger for molten cheese, which I am also feeling now, stupid metaphor) whenever I have spare time (which isn't often). I know I'd like to do something fulfilling and interesting, and I know I have many such goals, but in the moment, all I can think of is playing a video game or checking Facebook. This has to stop!

Back to the list. The big list. 101 things which are a more of a stretch than my run-of-the-mill, everyday goals. 1001 days in which do accomplish said things. Last time, I managed to accomplish 60/101 things in my allotted 1001 days, which was pretty good, but I'd like to do better. In fact, one of my goals will be "accomplish at least 75/101 things".

So far, so good. My plan is to start is to start this mid-December, which means I should get three full summers out of my 1001 days, which helps with some of the outdoor activities. It also means I have another three months or so to finish crafting my list, which is good, because right now, I only have 75 things on it, and I'm not sure all of them will make the final cut.

With that in mind... Here's your chance to help me out, or to jab a knife in my back and give it a twist or two. If you have any goals that you think would be worthwhile, or would suit me particularly well, or which you would find hilarious to inflict upon me (you know who you are), bring it on. I'm willing to open up at least 10 spots to externally imposed goals. You can offer suggestions in the comments, and if they're interesting/challenging/different/creative/hilarious enough, and aren't too hazardous to my health, I'll give them a go. And bear in mind, I've already watched Pride and Prejudice. (Without the zombies, even.)

Comment away. I'm off to have some frozen pizza.

Oh maaaaan.....what an opportunity! And no, I'm not going to make you watch ALL Jane Austen re-makes or anything...oh no, it must be much much much better. BUT....in return you are allowed to choose something for me to do in Hamburg/Germany and I will blog about it! And yes, the idea to go to a concert not of my choice is still on the list, so this would be in addition to that! Anyways, I'm going to put my thinking cap on and come up with an idea for you soon and good luck! :)
