The "someone else" turned out to be Janet, who conveniently had a birthday at the same time as I was wanting to eat pie. Of course, "wanting to eat pie" is a kind of default state for me, but regardless, I decided to make her a pie rather than go buy one at Aphrodite's Pie Shop. (Holy cow, good pies there...) I hadn't made a pie for quite a while, and I don't bake too often, but it seemed to turn out pretty well.

Janet didn't gag on it in front of my face, anyway. Kristi did mention that she was "interested" in trying my pie, and someone made a joke about accidentally dropping it on the people waiting for the bus outside, but I'm assuming they're all full of beans, and my pie was delectable. Sophie tried to claim it for herself (by poking it), and even went so far as to try to deflect suspicion, and accused Janet of "poking my pie".

78. Make a pie for myself.
I figured that the mess of making two pies wouldn't be appreciably bigger than the mess of making one pie, so I bought twice the ingredients and made one for myself too. Hooray for pie!

Bonus update:
34. Beat a computer/video game made before 1990.
I haven't done this yet, but have decided that the game I'm going to try to play and beat will be King's Quest III: To Heir is Human. I loved this game as a kid, and it remains one of my all-time favourites. Haven't played it in a while, though - looking forward to it!

"I hadn't made a pie for quite a while" Ha! I think you were in high school the last time you made a pie!
The pie was great and I was thoroughly impressed! Can't wait to have some for breakfast!
King's Quest - Hooray! I loved the chickens. Also, good job on the pies. Very impressed with the pastry fluting!
Pie-Man, you rock! Pie for breakfast today was the best thing ever.
I was definitely "curious" about your pie, but it was actually quite delicious and I would highly recommend you continue your baking efforts. I can't remember the last time you baked, but you obviously have skills so they should be developed. I enjoyed Sophie trying to claim the pie as her own :)
