Okay, this game is (a) awesome, and (b) ridiculously huge. If I used my usual criteria to define what I mean by "beat" this game (i.e. full completion of all quests), I would never accomplish it, because of the sheer expansiveness of the world, and the number of quests. Also, there are some situations where you can only complete one of two quests, based on the decisions you make throughout the game. So - the only reasonable option was to consider this game "beat" when I completed the main story's quest - namely, defeating the world-threatening dragon, Alduin. I've played Skyrim for 127 hours now, and finally stopped doing side quests and concentrated on finding Alduin.
Here he is, coming in for a landing after blasting me from the skies for a while...
Here he is, finally grounded, ready to bite my head off.
And here he is, exploding. :)
All in all, a great game... and one that I'm going to keep playing even after removing the scourge of Alduin from the land of Skyrim.
